Mykola Krychevsky. The Artist and the World

600 UAH

“Mykola Krychevsky. The Artist and the World” is the first large-scale publication dedicated to the French-Ukrainian artist, master of watercolor, on the 120th anniversary of his birth.

The presented retrospective of the artist’s works from museum and private collections allows us to trace the development of Mykola Krychevsky’s style, highlight the stages of his creative evolution, and get acquainted with various areas of the artist’s activity.

The articles by art historians Oksana Pidsukha and Anna Leksina explore the artist’s work and restore the main milestones of Mykola Krychevsky’s life based on documents and photographs found in Ukraine, the United States, and France. The album includes contributions by the artist’s friends and contemporaries Volodymyr Popovych and Charles de Peyret-Chappuis. The memoirs of Mykola Krychevsky’s niece, Kateryna Krychevska-Rosandich, are published for the first time.
