The art critic and essayist Diana Klochko will discuss how Glushchenko managed to move away from the prescriptions of social realism and continue a dialogue with the “Paris School” of the early twentieth century, when it no longer existed as a phenomenon, in her lecture “Mykola Glushchenko: Ukrainian in Paris, Parisian in Ukraine.”
The event includes a lecture and a tour of the “Ukrainians in Montmartre” exhibition.
