Oleksandr Lototsky was a Ukrainian public and political figure, writer, publicist, and scholar.

Michael Luchkovich was the first ethnic Ukrainian in the federal Parliament of Canada, a member of the House of Commons from 1926 to 1935,  an educator, writer, translator, and public figure.

Viacheslav Lypynsky was a Ukrainian historian, publicist, politician, and public figure. He founded the statehood trend in Ukrainian historiography and the Ukrainian monarchist movement, created a theoretical background of Ukrainian conservatism, was the Ambassador of Ukraine to Austria-Hungary, and represented the second wave of emigration. He lived and worked in Austria and Germany.

Yevhen Malaniuk was a Ukrainian poet, publicist, literary critic, interpreter, public and cultural figure, and a representative of the Prague poetry school.

Andriy Melnyk was a Colonel of the Ukrainian People's Republic Army, the second leader of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists (OUN) (1938–1964), and a fighter for Ukraine's independence.

Mstyslav (Stepan Skrypnyk) was the first Patriarch of Kyiv and All Ukraine, a Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Ukraine, the United States, Western Europe, South America, Australia, and New Zealand.   

Tetiana Mykhailivska-Tsymbal was a public figure, philanthropist, and educator of the Ukrainian diaspora in Argentina and the United States. She was also a participant in the Ukrainian revolution of 1917-1921.

Oleksandr Ohloblyn was a Ukrainian historian, archivist, public figure, founder of scientific genealogy in Ukraine, president of The Ukrainian Academy of Arts and Sciences  in the United States; a representative of the third (political) wave of emigration.  He lived and worked in the Czech Republic, Germany, and the United States.

Oleh Olzhych (real name Kandyba) was a Ukrainian archaeologist, poet, and politician.
