The Virtual Museum of Ukrainian Diaspora is a collection of exhibits
From the Museum of Ukrainian Diaspora and other partner institutions and individuals. It aims to showcase the history and cultural heritage of Ukrainians worldwide, including items stored in diaspora institutions and reflect the history and culture of Ukraine itself.
The exhibits in the collection are organized by their type. Additionally, there are separate sections dedicated to particular themes or memorials. Some of these include the last President of the Ukrainian People’s Republic in exile, Mykola Plavyuk, the conductor and composer Oleksandr Koshyts, the Krychevsky artistic dynasty, Ukrainians in Canada, and Ukrainians in Australia.
The "Names" section
Showcases individuals who left a significant mark in various fields of activity and belong to the three waves of emigration from Ukraine. The selection is based on available funds and also aims to bring back almost forgotten natives of Ukraine into the context of Ukrainian history and culture.
